You know that during the coronavirus pandemic, you need to wash your hands and wear masks to keep you clean, but what about cell phones and other electronic devices? Not only is your phone ten times dirty than a public toilet seat, but the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) explains that electronic devices are “high-touch surfaces” and should be disinfected frequently to prevent COVID-19 (and other bacteria, of course).

As for the method of use, the US Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) has issued a list of recommended disinfectants, and the CDC said it hopes to use at least 70% alcohol to clean wipes to disinfect mobile phones and other surfaces. Another popular option specifically for disinfecting electronic products is UV phone disinfectant, such as the popular PhoneSoap. The reviewing senior scientist Julia MacDougall (Julia MacDougall) tested the disinfectant for herself and found that they effectively killed the bacteria, and explained: “Phone soap (and other phone disinfectants) rely on ultraviolet light to destroy The keys between molecules in bacterial DNA.” She recommends cleaning the phone at least once a day, and also before and after anyone else touches the phone.

Whichever method you choose, always follow the manufacturer’s instructions provided for specific gadgets first to avoid damaging the electronics or improperly cleaning them. CDC also recommends that you put a wipeable cover on your electronic device to make it easier to clean. To help you keep your electronic products sterile, the following are the major retailers where you can buy cleaning agents for mobile phones, laptops, tablets, etc., including PhoneSoap and alcohol wipes.
